Week in Review

One thing I don't get about out kids is what they do when they are scared. When I was younger the closet and the floor were the things I stayed away from. Beck on the other hand gets off of his bed, on the top bunk and sleeps on the floor and in the closet. I don't understand it.
We didn't do projects much this week. We ate at the park and played Rock Band and then we made swirled cookies. They look weird, but they kids loved them.

Thursday night was Grandma and Grandpa Arrington camp. The kids look forward to this so much. This was Emery's first year going and she was the most excited.
They did some scrap booking, which the kids loved. I love that Grandpa even got into it.

They also went for a picnic, watched home videos, played night games and slept in a tent. All of the kids had a blast. Friday was spent all day playing with their cousins.
Friday was also the annual Brouhaha. This years meat was pork. Brad made a pulled pork with pancetta and prosciutto slider. They were so tasty that Brad won! Cam was excited. When they called Brad's name he said, "Yes we did it!" Jackson kept everyone entertained by telling Knock-knock jokes. He is so much more outgoing than any of out kids have ever been. The weekend was finished off with Payton getting baptized. It was a fun week for the kids. Only a few more until school starts.
