3-6 Month Catch Up

I went through a few more cd's and was able to get more picture of the boys. Right as I was walking to the room to have the boys. Man I was huge, That's my RN who is amazing.
Proud daddy, I think that's Beck... not enough face to be able to tell. My favorite part of this picture is my mom. I was behind the curtains and one of them was opened a little so she had to check on me. It did happen to be soon after I threw up and was still gagging, so I'm not sure her mind was put at ease at all, but it was nice to look over and see her there. With a C-section it is the closest I could have my mom.
I love that even with a surgery, we were able to have the grandma's in the room to see the kids just after birth.
There were too many good, cute, fun, adorable pictures of the boys during this age, so it was hard to narrow them down. This is the age where they start actually doing things other than eat and sleep. This is where I say twins are better. A single baby you have to keep entertained, which can be really hard at times. The boys were built in entertainment for each other. I did however notice going through videos that it was always loud. One was either talking or crying, or both were at the same time. We moved to Boise when the boys were around 3 months old so Brad could go to school. Looking back now I have no idea  how we survived. We lived off one of the busiest roads in Boise, so I couldn't really go anywhere, and thanks to traffic and no money for gas I couldn't really take Brad to work so I could have a car. I spent a LOT of time alone in the apartment with 2 babies. As one could imagine I wore on me quick. It was also my first time away from my family, mainly parents and I wasn't sure I liked that. I have a close bond with them both, especially my mom. When we were in Twin I went over a few times a week, now I didn't go anywhere. It made Brad and I get closer and to rely on each other more. I know he had it just as hard, work then school then home for a few hours to sleep and start it all over again. Thinking back now it really makes me so glad he is done with school and has the amazing job he has. We were in Boise for 9 months. We moved back essentially because of me. I was depressed and Brad saw that. He looked into it and he could do a different degree through Boise but in Twin. I was very happy to move back and really it all has worked out great. He was going into education, which Brad is so good at teaching kids, but thanks to moving and the new degree he has the job he does. We did have a lot of good times in Boise while we were there. Watching twins grow is so fun. They are born the same day, same parents but so different. Everything but walking Beck did first, first to get teeth, to crawl, to talk, to sit up, but Camden walked first (not till 9 months though).
We went to parks a lot. There isn't much free in Boise but parks are. Not that the boys could really do anything at this age, it was more to get me out of the apartment. And these boys loved their binks. (The first batch is Beckham)

They were usually next to each other and usually once was touching the other. They had to know he was still there I guess. And they were in diapers a lot. Summer for babies can be rough.
 Such a cute boy

Also a very happy smiley baby. He was the one in videos crying the most though. That changed when They turned 2, Beck became quiet and Camden cried a lot.

We can't get over his "Barnes" head. Both boys had a big round head that was always in the 97% or higher.

Beck because a great sleeper. As he got older he would fake sleep and was amazing at it. We could move him out of his car seat and take him to bed and he wouldn't move.

 Spit up + bink= mess
Such a sad face I had to take a picture instead of help right away.

Their bouncy chairs were nest to the window and they always played with the blinds. I'm not sure why I didn't move them because I'm sure they broke a few, but I guess it gave them more to play with.
One of the few shirts they had the same, which probably meant they wore it when we went to family functions.
Camden was smaller than Beck but still a chunk. After about 3 months he didn't just sleep like he did at first so it was nice to see him more awake. I'm not sure what he is so surprised about here.
I know there were a bunch of times when I went to get him from bed that he was like this. He always ended up with something off the bed. Maybe that's why now he likes the wrap up feel of a hammock.
His smile lights up a room, so perfect.

I don't know why I don't have a picture like this with Beck too. They always did this right away once the could move. We kept toys and books there and they were all pulled out right away in the morning and didn't get put away till bed time.

 He's still very flexible.
He may have been awake more but his ability to sleep didn't go away. There are so many pictures of him sleeping in weird ways, which will happens today.

I got this chair in high school and the boys slept in it a few times and so did Brad and I when it was our turn with a fussy baby.

This toy was the best for them to play together. They could both see the toys and play with them and each other. You can kind of see pillows to help keep him up.

 Baby Camden and Baby Kilie

He liked to show off even when he was young.

He made this face a lot and talked.

Teething fun, see all the drool?

When Beck's button was getting really big. They are cutest twins out there.

Beck wasn't a fan of the sun bright in his face.

Selfie before they were cool. It's probably best I didn't have Facebook at this time. But look how cute the boys are.

 Lots of cuteness and drool....

Sometimes you just let them sleep no matter how you got them to sleep.
They always had a diaper rash when we lived here. The doctor we was would give them antibiotics and the smallest ear infection site, and that medicine is the worst. So they spent a few hours without anything on to air it out.

Don't let this fool you, he probably smacked Beck right after the picture.
They loved to watch Grandpa's train go around the tree.
We look so young!
Another free thing to do was play dress up, and we did a lot. I'm not sure the boys really likes it.

Brad tried to instill sports in them early, it didn't work.

They look like little old men golfers.

Camden does snowboard, so this one worked.
The apartment complex we lived at did have a pool but the boys hated it, so we only went once.

The boys loved to visit grandparents. Grandpa Arrington has the magic touch and could get them asleep. You can see they're both about out.

Not sure Cam knew what to think of Maya, or if she knew what to think of him taking her normal spot to sleep.

Feeding 2 is a fun mess. You give one a bite and while they get it down you get the other and go back and forth. There really isn't time to clean them up, so they always were a mess afterward.
 We caught Beck mid sneeze.

So I could eat they were give the empty food to keep them busy long enough for me to eat.

The liked most things except peas. (really who does like peas?) We have the best video of Beck not quite able to get them down.
He's angry we gave him peas.
They did love watermelon. I think the cold fruit on their gums felt good.

A few videos put together. First Beck eating peas - Beck not going to sleep then going crazy. We have a great niece who does the same head movement, which is so fun to see they have things in common. - Camden talking and trying hard to move. They both just did an army crawl for the longest time but it took Cam a bit longer to get. Ignore the crazy laughing, remember it was me and two babies all day, zero adult conversation until Brad got home late at night. Every thing was so funny to me. I would later show Brad videos and he thought me laughing so hard was more funny then the actual video. This is how Camden would talk all the time.- Camden dreaming. -  Brad trying to get the boys to laugh. Beck would not laugh if he say the camera, he's still the same. - Once of the many small fights they had over toys. Even though Beck kept the toy I think Camden won. Yes, Beck is pantsless. - Them playing with their favorite toy.

They were a lot of work at this age, but I have days where I'd love to have my 6 month old twin back just for a day. Seeing any child's personality start to form is so fascinating to watch, but being able to see two at once was the best gift a mom can get. I like looking back at the pictures and remembering who they were and seeing who they have become and making connections.
