Boise

The move time is getting closer and closer. The whole process has been a lot more painstaking than we thought it would be. One of the few places in the US that is growing the fastest is Boise. Which makes is one of the more expensive places to move to. We decided to rent, so we can get a feel for the area and because house prices are crazy. We picked a weekend to go up with the kids. We wanted to look at a bunch of houses and hopefully find a place. We made a list of places we wanted to look at, about 9 or so. When we went to call on houses there were about 3 to 5 left on our list that weren't rented out. We had one appointment set up when we went on Friday. I called a few more places and some weren't available to look at yet, one didn't take dogs, another wouldn't call back. While Brad was at work, the kids and I played. Beck is a little too tall for kids toys now.

The one we looked at we really loved but they wouldn't hold it. We would have to move a month earlier than we wanted to. Friday night we did a few things with the kids and during that time, we were able to set up another appointment. That one was nice, but just a little too far out and away from anything.  We did go to a movie on Saturday. I love these theaters, but they make me so tired and it's hard to not fall asleep.
We left Boise frustrated and like moving was going to be pushed back. There was one house we drove by, but it was put out for rent on Saturday. On Monday we got a message saying we could walk thought the house with 24 hour notice. We have made a lot of trips to Boise and one more for a 10 min walk through was a lot. We contacted my brother and he walked through the house with us on video chat. It was a very modern way of doing a walk through. The set up is nice, they're going to deep clean it and change the carpet. We felt good about it and moved forward with an application, that was Tuesday night. We didn't hear anything back until Saturday morning! It was a very long few days not knowing what was happening. Since we are paying some rent to take over most of my parents house, we put them as a landlord, I just forgot to tell them we did that. The company called and asked my dad how we were as tenants. Thankfully he gave his daughter a good review. The next Monday we got the email, we were approved and we have a place.
We took a quick trip up Saturday to walk through it and sign papers.
It definitely needed to be cleaned, but the kids all loved it and we can't wait to move.
I'm not going to lie, I'm the most nervous, but I know it's where were meant to be, and that makes me excited for the future.
