The Past Week

Jackson has always had a line on one of his front teeth. We really didn't think much of it, it just looked like it grew in weird, but we found out at his dentist appointment that it is a cavity. They sent us to a kid specialist dentist and he got it filled this past week. I HATE the dentist. Thinking of going is bad enough, but taking the kids is horrible. Jacks was a champ thought. He just laid there and watched the show they had on for him. The laughing gas mask looked so sad on his tiny face. They said they weren't sure if he would sit for all of it, but he did great and was able to get the cavity filled pretty quick. I think I was more nervous than he was.
We have tried a few time to teach the boys how to ride a bike. We get frustrated too fast and they give up on us too fast, so what did they need....  a day lesson with Grandma. Grandma worked with them on Wednesday for a little bit and they liked it. On Saturday night Camden said he could do it and didn't need any help. We told him to show us. While right at first he couldn't, after a few mins they were both riding alone without any help. Today they all went out and rode again. Beck is doing great, Cam is still a little scared, but we are so proud of them for finally trying and getting it.

Emery got bit by the ride the bike bug and has been trying all day. Shes doing well, just maybe needs a better bike. Soon we won't be able to hold her back.
There are so many nice things about living at Grandma and Grandpas' house. Like Emery and Jacks don't come and wake us up, they love to go up and see what Grandma and Grandpa are doing. Since all four of them wake up early it works. The bike riding is another perk. I forgot my snack for work and Brad was able to bring it to me. It's been a lot of fun for the kids and had been really nice and comfortable for Brad and I, we are all so grateful for all they are doing for us. A high perk for me is the mixer... yep a mixer. Mine broke about 4 months ago and so I haven't made bread or rolls. I know that sounds so... lame, but I really love to make both of those. I made a big batch of bread on Saturday, and it was even better in a good mixer. We may be having a lot of bread the next few weeks.
