New Pictures

 We took the boys senior pictures and took that opportunity to take new kid pictures too. I think they turned out well. We just used my phone and a little photoshop thanks to Brad.

This picture was Brad's cheesy pose, and it ended up being our favorite.

All the kids were good sports and listened to all the different poses we did. This is a pose the boys chose to do. 

Cam had a decent amount he wanted to take. We were going to try and put a piano behind him but AI was not being our friend. It's still a really good picture.

Beck's photos. I told him we had to have one with his guitar and then one where he picked his outfit. Beck loved music and concerts, so I should have guessed it would have been a band shirt.

Got some single ones of Emery and Jacks. They were probably a little happy they didn't have to have multiple outfit changes. 

Come Hang, Let's Go Out With a Bang! Bang!

 

This past week it was finally time for the AJR concert. We went a few years ago and loved it, so it was a no brainer to go again. They are one of Camden's favorite bands. One of Cailey's end of year goals was to go to a concert and it was such a good one to go to. They were the best and let me third wheel on their date. We got a before show VIP. We got a signed lanyard, early access to merch, some merch will ship to us able to see their tour museum. 

The opener was Dean Lewis. I really like his music and was excited to see him. Emery asked to go to merch just as he started (her friend ended up having an extra ticket and was there too). I didn't see as much as I wanted to, but did see the one song I wanted to. 

It's called "How Do I Say Goodbye" and it gives me all the feels. My dad is pretty healthy, but this song makes me think of him. Part of the chorus is, "So how do I say goodbye/To someone who's been with me for my whole life?/You gave me my name and the color of your eyes/I see your face when I look at mine." I may or may not have cried when listening. It's such a good song. 

AJR was amazing again. I don't know how Jack has so much energy and runs and jumps around so much. They put on a real production that you don't want to end. 

Camden saw what Ryan was wearing from another picture from a previous concert and wore pretty much the same thing.

We all had the best time and can't wait for the next concert. 

Starset

This past weekend Beckham and I went to Salt Lake City for a concert. He initially was going to go alone but he hasn't driven on the interstate ever, so I wasn't comfortable with it. I like the band and decided to go too. He drove part of the way and did a great job. I only over reacted once. I was calm enough to even read a book. 

The concert was SO good. It was a story along with the songs and done really well. 

I know we don't have a ton of these trips left before he takes off for California, so I really love them while they happen. 

Senior Prom

 

After being nervous to ask Cailey to Prom, the day finally came. Earlier this week Cam showed me that he and Cailey were voted for Prom royalty. 

Cam and Cailey took Emery and Jacks to the Giant Jump House that's in town. It was fun but stressful for Cam. Emery was a little upset there wasn't time after her sleepover to go and change, thanks to traffic they were a little late. They had fun while there, then when leaving, Jacks twisted his ankle, then over heated and felt sick and threw up on the way to the car. I do think they all had some fun. It's defiantly one trip they won't forget. 

Then it was prom time. They wore the shoes they made, which I love they went fun and practical over crazy dressed up. They look amazing. 

They did not win King and Queen but they still had a really good time. Not that I'm bias, but they look very cute together.
