Picture Dump

At the mall right now there is a huge bounce house that you can reserve time and go play. Emery went with Jayson and his family this past Friday. She loved it and had a lot of fun. I love they like to dress the same when they go out, maybe we should get them non PJ pants, but they like them.  

Our dogs are lame. Eevee we say is an 'old man' dog. She falls asleep sitting up all the time. Yesterday she refused to lay down, but was super tired. 

Cam, Emery, Cailey and Emery's friend Jenna went to Haunted World this weekend. They say Emery got the most scared, but I think Cam was being tough in front of Cailey. 

For the past few months Brad and I have been playing a game together called Red Dead Redemption II. It is a huge game, a ton to do, and a lot of fun. To be fully honest, I hated it at first. I was pretty much ready to give it up, until Brad joined in and did things I hated to do. We too turns doing different quests and challenges. Well this weekend we fully competed it. It was kind of sad to be done with it, but we started Red Dead Redemption (the first one), to take its place. 

Few Randos

Our dogs are not smart. They do love fries. Eevee got her head stuck in a box. Maybe one of the kids helped, but I don't put it past her going for the last crumb and getting stuck. 

Jackson changed to the Bass Clarinet and had his first concert. He really likes playing this, but hates having to deal with the case. It is a huge case to lug around.

Last Sunday Cam showed me his hand and one of his left knuckles was really swollen. He said It hurt too so we splinted it, and had him take medication to help swelling. That lasted until Tuesday and he couldn't take the pain anymore. We took him to Quick Care. Good news, what we were going was exactly right. Bad new, he has trigger finger and that takes a little bit to heal. They did put him on a high does anti-inflammatory which has helped. It is looking a lot better than it did a week ago. 

Brad is making some Halloween Decorations, I'll post that when they are done. But part of it is in the high windows. You don't realize how high those are until you see the ladder on a chair and Cam at the top. He loves it though and climbs much higher at the gym. 

Friday the 13th

What's better than Friday in October? Emery and Avery had a party this past Friday to celebrate. She has been doing chores the last few weeks to get the money to do all she wanted. 

They have matching Fall PJ's. I'm going to guess they planned to match black shirts too. 

They made snack. They also had colored pasta and Popcorn with M&Ms. Sleepovers now are up another level than when I did them. Brittany and I could bake brownies about 3/4 the way done top with mint ice cream. Get a $5 pizza from Little Caesar's and have Dr Pepper. Now Emery has Instagram to find fun ideas, and she finds a lot.  

Vanilla, green food color and 7Up floats

They made tie blankets that matched. 

Painted pumpkins and watched a few scary movies. 

No sleepover is complete without a make over and waxing strips on your arms. 

They have the best times when together, I love hearing and seeing it. 

It's October 3rd

It may be the best day of the year, not the best but a pretty sweet one. Today is the day Cady asked Aaron Samuels what day it was... it's October 3rd. "Mean Girls" is one of my favorite movies and any reason to watch it, I'm in for. 

Sunday we had some bags of candy and played poker and other gambling games. It's fun to play games with the kids and you get snacks as you go. Like every other time, Cam lost his "money" pretty quick, but this time he didn't throw a fit. And we just gave move candy when needed. 

Picture Dump

Both Camden and Jackson have classes they have to do service for. This past Saturday they went and help set up for an Alzheimer run. They finished pretty quick, which was good since it was raining. 

In Emery's cooking class she had to pass of types of cutting. The student who did it the quickest, and safest while being correct won the Golden Carrot. You write your name on it and it has past years winners as well. Two won this year. She had to cut rondelle, julienned, brunoised, Batonnet, Small dice and mice cut.  

The teacher who puts together the trip that Beck went on sent pictures from the trip as well. Not sure where any of these are, but it's nice to see more pictures from his trip.
