New Toy

This year we are planning on taking a big trip with the kids and have been saving for it. Just as we started to save for it our microwave stopped working. You don't realize how much you use one until you can't. We did borrow one for a while until ours came. Thank you appliances for not helping us save. 

Birthday Fun

The beginning of the month is Grandpa Arrinton's birthday and we went over for dinner and games to celebrate. We played Speak Out and it was a lot of fun. There is a small amount of gross to the game, mouths are nasty open that wide, but it's a hilarious hearing people try and talk this way. All the kids loved it. 

Boys

The boys were the only ones who made their own boxes this year. Their class had a competition so they had to make cool ones, and by they I mean Brad did most of the work... They both won a prize. Beck won best overall and Cam won coolest.

 At school you could buy candy grams and so Beck took his money to school and got one for two of his friends and also one for Brad and I. It was a really cute and kind thing for him to do. 

That same week we had the pinewood durby. Another project the boys work on, AKA Brad does most of the work, but the cars turned out really cool. Cam's is blue and Beck's is silver.

Cam got 1st in Webelos and Beck got 2nd, they were the only two, but still cool right?

 Overall Camden took 1st and Beck took 6th. All of the races were close. This is however our last year till Jacks! 

They boys both wore us lists last night about why they need and should have a YouTube account for them to post videos. They have these grand ideas of making millions because there are people out there that do. Little do they know how much work those people put into their videos and how long it took them to get that high. They have the thought they'll make that next week. I'm not a huge fan of the idea, too many trolls out there and other 'bad' people, but I can appreciate the notes they wrote. You can tell which one has gotten in trouble before, Cam said he would follow the rules and not post things we don't want him to and not chat. We haven't decided on the matter yet, so no mega million dollar account has been set up, only time will tell that part.

Jacks and Emery

Emery and Jacks like to have sleep-outs with each other. Now that their room is the same place they have to get creative to be able to make it seem different on the weekend. We got a microwave recently and they have used up the box. I guess unlucky for them, they were both too tired to watch all of the move. Do notice they have two of their toys in tiny clear boxes (or beds as they say) watching the movie too. 

 We took the kids to Sakura the other day, where they cook in front of you and Jacks loved it. He saw the table behind us, so he knew fire was coming and when it was our turn he had to make sure his plate and chopsticks were out of the way. 

 I still have a big box of doll clothes from when I was a kid, so now Emery and Jacks play with them. Apparently one day they thought dress up would be fun and Jacks tried on some of the clothes. His favorite things were a sweet pink sweater and some knit undies He wore these for a while and the undies most of the day. I hope he always stays this care free and funny. 

Bodies Move

For Christmas my parents gave all of us kids gift cards to this place called Bodies Move in Boise so we can make memories. I love this idea and this past weekend we went with 2 of my other brothers and their families. The kids had a blast here, I only wish we had one in Twin. Having their cousins there really helped them get into more things and play longer. There was a really big climbing/slide toy and then a few ninja warrior type things too. Camden really got into that. Maybe someday he'll do the show. ;)

 He couldn't quite get to the top of this one, but that didn't make me too sad, I'm not a fan of high places. 

 My brother is a big Texas Longhorns fan. We have thing sweet thing going where we switch clothes between kids to save money and it's a fun way to get 'new' clothes and also somethings that the boys wore when they were Jacks age. In the bag we just got there was a Texas shirt.We send up BYU shirts, so it evens out. I put it in Jacks drawer and he just happened to pick that one out on Saturday himself. Jayson was impressed, Jacks, I don't think, understood what he thought was so cool. 

 After a few times trying Camden figured this one out. He was so happy when he actually got it. He really needs to be in gymnastic type things, he loves doing it. 

Another obstacle you could do. Cam couldn't get enough of them all. (He was the only one who would do things for the camera.) 

Emery and Jacks

Emery has been doing a new thing where she prepares the day before for school. It's good because sometime she takes forever in the morning and is late. I love how she sets it all out, ready for the next morning. Usually she puts undies out and has it set out with the socks and shoes at the bottom of her pants. 

 Jacks has been having a lot of fun going to school each day and is really learning a lot. He was able to pass off all of the names and sounds of the alphabet and received this alphabet all star dog tag. It even has his name engraved on the back of it.
