Jacks is 14

 

This past weekend was Jackson's 14th birthday! His favorite thing to do for his birthday is to have Jarom come up from Twin to hang out for a few days. They had a fun weekend hanging out. 

Jacks wanted a second monitor for his computer. I'm not really sure the reason why, but he loves having the 2 screens now. And he got a few One Piece Pops.

Jacks and Jarom spent an afternoon at Wahooz. It was good to get them out of the house, plus they had a lot of fun too. 

Jacks and Jarom both love Dave's Hot Chicken, so that is where Jacks chose to have lunch on his actual birthday. 

This was Jackson's last year in Middle School. It is kind of weird to think about only having adult kids and High School kids. He is excited he is able to go to Renaissance like the other three have. I love the friendship that Jacks and Jarom still have. Even with them being about 2 hours away from each other, they still are able to play games together and chat online. This year Jackson has been watching a show called One Piece. It has a lot of episodes so he's still not caught up, but he loves it. Its one he and Jarom both like too. He didn't do band but did a pre engineering class, a film making class and a coding class. I love all the options the schools here have for the kids. I love to see in his room all the different ways he sets up all his figures. His room isn't always the cleanest, but he does dust the shelves his figures are on and makes sure those stay clean.  Jackson is still always up for a good movie. I love that he listens to 'old' movies we suggest and will watch them with us. For the most part he really likes them too. He has seemed to really love being a Teacher at church and helping to set up each Sunday. It's been fun to watch him grow and learn as he takes on these new responsibilities. He is still my Library buddy. We go every once in a while to different ones to find good new books. His favorite to get are the Graphic Novels. I'm just happy to have someone to go with me. Jackson's favorite subject is World Civ. His favorite game is Rivals and his favorite food is fries.
