Barnes Reunion

It was another fun year at the Barnes Reunion in Bear Lake. It's been our go to place for a while. It's quite a drive, but the view is beautiful. 

Brad did a game, it was the game of Five Senses. The pictures uploaded backwards, I had a very long drive home today, so they are going to be told backwards. 

We were split into 4 groups, and each 'sense' earned a point. Team 3 won. The winning team had to face of eating Every Flavor Beans, chew 3 times and swallow without making a face. Brad thought one or two rounds and there would be a winner. But it went on for a lot of rounds. It went up to 2 beans at a time, to 3 beans, then 3 or 4 beans and the others blew in your face. In the end, we had 4 winners.  

Cam, Teresa, Grey and James won the game. 

Cam struggled a little swallowing a few times. 

Cailey was in it for a few rounds. She swallowed then gagged a little so she was out. She was so annoyed she lost.

Hearing was the voice of a random character (like Donald Duck) saying a famous movie line from a movie. You had to guess the character and movie. It was done with AI, so the voices weren't perfect. 

Smell was scratch and sniff stickers. You had to smell one and guess what it was from pictures. Some were good smells and some not so much. 

All the smells, and yes, one was Grandpa, but it smelled more like aftershave. 

Touch was putting on blackout glasses and someone random stood in front of you and by touching their face, you had to guess who they were. It was funny how wrong some of them were. 

Taste was a float. There were different flavors of soda in them and you had to guess the flavor. It went from cream soda to enchilada or butter. 

Sight was photos of the family that Brad put into AI and made it into an old style or art. You had to guess who was in the original photo. A few examples. 

I'm not a huge beach lover, the sand always makes my skin dry, but the water at Bear Lake is so beautiful. 

We have a niece who had twins and you know we took all the advantage we could to hold them. Miss my baby twins. I loved that stage. 

I think a few years now Beck has buried Cam, and this year was no different.

The sand everywhere may be a disadvantage.

We always do BINGO where the sheet in family pictures. It's such a fun way to do it. Everyone brings prizes. I finally got one BINGO at the very end, but it was still fun.
