April 4, 2019... that was the last time I went to a concert. I love going to them, the energy, the songs, the people watching, the lack of being able to hear and talk afterwards; it's all amazing. Last night we decided to go to Shinedown. Brad went with the boys about 2 months ago in Utah to see them, but I did not go. Beckham was not happy he didn't get to go, it was the last night of the play, but he did give me a list of songs to record for him. I was so amazed by the ages there. It young kids to grandparents and the show did not disappoint. Now I'm ready for the next one.

The Toe
Beckham hates when he can see the white part of his nail. He's never actually said that, but if you look, they never have white. Well, doing that created ingrown nails. One toe got really bad. We set up an appointment to get them take care of. Camden really wanted to see it done, so he came to the appointment with us. I should have recorded Cam watching; he's going to make a good doctor.
The process is interesting to watch. The numbing of the toe is the worst part. (I know, I had both feet done)
When I had mine done they burned the root, which smelled really bad. Beckham was done chemically, The sticks are down in his toes with whatever killed the root on it.
Now he has about 2 weeks of soaking his foot and healing but...
It does look a lot better, Still healing but not bleeding and red like it was before.
Little Mermaid Jr.
We have pretty good teens so far. They have quirks but really hasn't been too bad...yet (knock on wood). Friday I got a text from Beck that said his friend Jackson hit him and this picture. My heart dropped... thought why did that school not call me, then I remembered that in English they were going skits of Julius Cesar and his group wanted lots of blood. It does look like he could have gotten hit.
Later that night he was Pilot in the schools Little Mermaid Jr play. He opened the play and did a great job. One thing I really liked with this group is they had 2 casts. So it gives more kids chances to act. The whole cast is in each play, but the 'leads' changed. He had fun but is ready for a break too.
Zander and Payton were in the play as well. The other nights, Payton was Eric.
Some left over blood on his shirt. He didn't get why I wanted the bloody shirt in this picture too.
Before the play Paul kept Jackson happy by looking at every ride at Six Flag Dallas. We're going there in a few weeks. There are things I miss about Twin, but love so many things about Boise, and the relationship with family here is one of them. The kids have a lot of amazing uncles, Paul is one of the greats.
Few Short Sotries
We watched Makenzie's kids again the other day. Quinn is such an easy baby and so happy. Emery kept the girls happy with lots of drawing and painting nails.
We even got Beck to hold a baby. He likes that Quinn is a little stronger and can hold up his head. He is so cute with a baby. The dogs did get not get Q. Eevee was nice but a little scared.
Luna is a bully.... that's all. Of all the seats in the house this is where she had to be.

The Cut
It's no secret, I am not a fan of long hair on boys. I really don't like it on any boy. I do try and let the kids do pretty much whatever with their hair, but not so secretly hate it. Jackson grew his out for a while and finally cut. it. It was a LOT of hair.
Doesn't he look so cute?!

I Hope They Call Me on a Mission
Leaving Twin to move to Boise was hard. I was excited for it and knew it was the right move, but leaving was hard. It was a few times leaving before I didn't cry or feel sad when I left. Grandma and Grandpa Arrington have left for 2 years to serve a mission in North Carolina. We are all excited for them, know it's the perfect place for them to be, but leaving Twin was hard once last time.
A few weeks before they left we came to Twin to visit before they left.
We had a last family get together before they took off. It was so nice to have everyone there. Again with the teen; she looked at me this time, but had to make a face.
After they were set apart someone said group hug and this happened. They are some of my favorite pictures.
They will spend a few weeks at the MTC then take off for North Carolina. Saying good bye and being 2 hours apart wasn't too bad. Saying good buy for pretty much 2 years was harder and more surreal than I thought it would be. We will miss them, but know that people of North Carolina are so blessed to have them.
Working Boys
Wendy's finally opened their lobby so we had to go and bug Camden at work. He talks a little quiet but did a good job.
Since it gets dark still before they get off, and I don't want Camden walking home across Eagle Road when it's dark, we get them a lot at night. This night we ate at Wendy's, got Cam then ran over to Culvers to get Beck. I'm ready for Beck to have his license so he can do all of this.
Few Catch Ups
This year we had a mega TWOs day. 2-22-22 happened and that day the school said to wear Tie, Tube Socks or a tutu. Jackson wanted to wear all three. The Gold skirt next to him is his friend. He had a lot of fun with this day.
Emery had her special night and she wanted to get her nails done with her cousin Avery. We had dinner then got manicures.
Beckham didn't want to feel left out of our picture.
Recently the boys have gotten back into Magic the Gathering. We used to play it a lot then it kind of just stopped. Now some cousins play it as well, so we dug out our card and bought a few more. Nothing makes you feel more like a nerd than talking about the sweet cards you have and the combos you can make... I love it.
Emery had a concert the other day. She refused to look over at me. You have to love teens.

Murder Mystery
On Monday, it was Emery's night for FHE. She wanted to play a game, but it needed a lot of people and a lot more planning than just one night. We decided to see if Paul's family wanted to join and play as well. They came over tonight and we had snacks, mingles and figured out who Murdered Barbara Tuner. Zander and Payton's characters were girls and most people had one thing on that went with their character.
It was a lot of fun. You had ten lines you had to tell people as you mingled then we sat and asked each person questions and tried to guess who it was. It was Beck.
New Job
Camden started a new job yesterday. Around Christmas the Stud finder place that he was working stopped Saturday shifts. I think he enjoyed having his weekends back, and being able to sleep in, but he did miss making money. Camden applied at a few places and Wendy's contacted him. He went in for an interview. The interview was maybe 10 minutes long. He went in, they asked his information, told him the pay and said you're hired, we'll call with a start date. His first day he liked a lot. Camden said he gets unlimited drinks, which he is excited for. And like Beck, he gets a certain amount in food each shift he works.
