Emery Softball

Emery is really our only child so far who likes sports. She loves softball and was excited for it to start. This year she has improved so much this year, it has been fun to watch. She was the catcher a lot which she came to really like. Whenever she would bat she never would swing on the first pitch, which ended up working for her because she hit most of the times after that and made it on base. She's sad its over but is excited already for next year.

Grandma and Grandpa Camp 2018

Since it is summer it is time for grandma and grandpa camp. This year a week-ish before they took off Grandpa was in the hospital again. As a family we were determined to get him to camp, even though he couldn't stay the whole time. Before he got out the kids made cards and Emery made one hoping he was better so they could build things at camp.
The whole clan that came. Great Aunt Gerry and Great Uncle George came to help with the trailer and the kids after Grandpa had to go home to rest. I went up to help take kids and bring Grandpa home when he was ready. I was nervous to drive in the hills, so Grandpa had to ride with me. It was my first time driving there so I'm glad I had help.
All week Jacks talked about how he was going to be with Keegan and Keegan was his friend. The first thing he did when we got all together was find Keegan and didn't leave his side all weekend.
Beck trying to do the worm. They had a dance party.

Emery's arm got pinched in the door of the camper some how.
They made buckets and then had secret cousins and left small prizes for them in their buckets. All of the kids loved that. They played lots of games and build forts. I love seeing how fast they all become best friends again once they see each other.
Grandpa showed them all how to build tents, which every kid loved doing. They all had plans to follow which made them all feel like they were doing it themselves.

Grandpa taught them how they should build their tents toward the temple and the Lord and they will always follow the right path. I think every kid really loved it and learned from it.
This is where we went home. The kids love camp so much and look forward to it each year. We are so glad it was planned in Twin so Grandpa could go as well. I know they are already looking forward to next years camp.

Jacks Day

This month was Jacks special day and he chose to golf. He had a lot of fun with it and did great. I like the outside ones because we can talk with them more.
 He even got a hole-in-one!
And a massive snow cone that he had to show off to his siblings.

Boys Play

This summer the boys did a drama camp and this past week they performed a few small skits. Camden was the dad in his, which was funny because his daughter was a lot taller than he was. He did a good job and was pretty funny.
Beckham had a lot of talking in his and was funny as well. He was nervous at first but once he calmed down it perfect.
He told us he had to get close to kissing a girl and so I had to have the camera ready to get a photo. They were both nervous so it wasn't as close as I thought, but close for a 7th grader.

It made them excited for school to start again so drama can start again.

Family Project

We have recently started a new family project, or you could call it that. Beckham has liked collecting Funko Pops for a while and just recently the whole family has joined in and started to go pop hunting and collect them.
This was the first picture we took with the whole families pops. There are a lot, maybe too many. We will go to Target, Hot Topic, Barnes and Noble and Wal-Mart to look for them, and usually Brad and the boys will go a few times a week.
We were in Boise this weekend and so we went hunting up there and got a few more. The kids had a lot of fun looking in new stored and finding ones that aren't normally in Twin. I think very soon out house will just be full of Funko Pops.

Beck

We watched out Great Niece the other day and the kids are always in heaven when we do. Beckham loves to play with her and talk to her. We took a few pictures and Beck has to be in all of them.

Summer Projects

We have done summer projects but I have worked a lot also and so I haven't put them up. Another thing I want to teach them this summer is to cook a little and follow a recipe. We made sugar cookie fruit pizzas. The kids loved them and did pretty well following what they had to do.

We've gone to the library a lot and a movie and the park. When I worked we got a little behind, so we have a few to catch up this week.
On their reading calendar they have to write a small book and this is Camden's. It seems really sad but he said its supposed to be funny and not sad at all.

For some reason he thought we were going to do and EEG when he started to tick, but we never were. The weird books they come up with.
