Weird Jacks

I love Jacks so much, be he has a lot of different little quarks that we are finding out. The other day we notcied he had small pieces of fries left over. When we watched him we realized that he won't eat the part of the fries that his hand was touching. It was the only thing for a while, but then....
He was eating doughnut holes the same way. If you ever see his face it can be super messy, but his hands he hates to be dirty. I have a brother who did the same thing when he was a little older than Jacks. This should be interesting, well depending on how far he takes this.
The other day Jacks was dancing. He loves to make people laugh but when I go to record he stops. He has been obsessed with "Lion King" and "Fox and the Hound" the past month or so. He said he was doing the Lion King dance.

Nothing Creative to Put Here

This is a smorgasbord of things that have happened the past few little bit.
Camden lost another tooth. He has a HUGE gap now. It was an ordeal getting this one out too. He didn't want it to come out, but it really needed to.
Brad attempted Movember. Thankfully it only lasted 2 weeks for him. He didn't like how it felt. I personally don't like facial hair, so I don't mind the fact that he really can't grow much hair.
We have been crafty in our house the last little bit. We made a 'command center.' I love how it turned out and all that is on it. Our fridge looks so clean now too without all of the papers on it.
Emery and Jacks helped a little with projects. I was painting things and I gave them their own thing to paint so they left mine alone.
This is the blocks that I painted. It's reversible and turned out pretty well, or at least I think so.

The "best" part is it's too big for any shelf we have now. So I have giving Brad another project I hope to start on this week... I figure we have been married 9 years and owned our house for 5, it's about time I decorate. I'm enjoining all the things were making, not sure Brad likes all the ideas I come up with. There are a few other projects that are only half done, so I'll post them later. We also got an entertainment center from Brad's parents. I love it, but realized how little i have to decorate with. So once I have Christmas stuff on that we'll take a good picture.
We had an awesome snow/rain/sleet storm this past week. I love my job but hate winter weather and getting off at 4 am. On Thursday it did all that fun stuff and froze, so you can guess that at 4 am, when I got off, our car was an ice cub, literally ice was all around it. Once I started the car I realized that we had yet to put an ice scraper in the car. We took them out of the other cars, but one didn't make it into the new one, hence the CD. Who knew that they make good scrapers? I did have to sit there for about 10 min for the car to warm up a little because the ice was too thick but I was able to scrape a little off to see and get home. I think a move to Arizona is needed... well as long as all the grandparents move with us. We'd miss them too much.

New Room

I am my mother's daughter. I love to move things around. I could probably move all the furniture once a month if we had the space to do so. Emery has been asking for a long time to share a room with Jacks. I haven't wanted to because a 5 min drive in the car is annoying enough with them, let alone every night trying to get them to sleep, no thanks! Well I finally caved because Brad really wanted to. I told him if they are annoying he gets to deal with it. So to put them in the same room we need a space saving bed and found this one. I love how it looks. We are still working on how we want Jacks bed under it, but he loves how the mattress is now. We chose this one because some day she'll be on her own and this will still work for just a single bedroom.
We also moved the pictures around and decided to put the weapons we made on the wall. If you really hit someone with them it could do some damage. It's defiantly a half boy/ half girl room, but they love it that way.
The bed looks so big with her in it. She loves the new room and they haven't been too bad so far with just going to sleep. I guess Brad wasn't completely wrong... yet.

Mornings

I am not a morning person. It makes more sense to be to stay up till 6 am and sleep a little then to wake up at 6 am. I hate mornings. Thanks to school I have to get up with the kids to get them ready. The boys are pretty independent, so it's not that bad. While they eat and get dressed I sit on our chair in the front room. Jacks is a morning person. 7 is usually when he gets up (too early if you ask me), but he does like to cuddle. This is how we sit/lay most mornings. I love having him lay on me. He is our baby, and he needs to stay that way as long as I can help it.

Halloween

Another year of trick-or-treating is done and over with. This year we made the kids costumes. I think they turned out well. Emery was Elsa. I'm not very good at sewing, so were lucky it turned out as well as it did.
The boys were turtles. Their outfits took a little more work, but looked good in the end. Cam was Donatello.
Beck was Leonardo.
And Jacks was Michelangelo.
We made the weapons too.
Don't they look great? A lot or work for one night.
